How to Turn off 3D Buildings in Android Auto?
Since the 3D buildings toggle is now synced between your phone and Android Auto, you can easily disable them using the Google Maps app on your phone. Here’s how:
Step 1: Open the Google Maps app on your smartphone.
Step 2: Tap on “your profile picture” or initials at the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Go to Settings.
Step 4: Scroll down and tap on “Navigation”.
Step 5: Locate the Show 3D buildings toggle and switch it off.
Once you complete these steps, 3D buildings will no longer be displayed in your Android Auto navigation view, providing a flatter and potentially less visually distracting map experience.
