Preparation Strategies:

To prepare for the exam, I started early and made a study plan that included practising mock tests and solving previous years’ papers. I focused on individual topics such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics and made sure to cover all the important concepts. I also joined a coaching institute to get expert guidance and study material. Here’s your battle plan:

  • Start Early and Stay Consistent:
  1. Begin well in advance to cover the vast syllabus.
  2. Consistency is key—daily study routines pay off.
  • Know the Syllabus and Exam Pattern:
  1. Analyze the syllabus thoroughly.
  2. Understand the weightage of each topic.
  3. Stay updated with any pattern changes.
  • Seek Guidance:
  1. Consult coaching institutes for clarity on difficult topics.
  2. Don’t hesitate to ask questions.
  • Practice Time Management:
  1. Simulate exam conditions during practice tests.
  2. Allocate time wisely to each section.

Subject Focus:

  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics:

I focused on individual topics such as calculus, algebra, organic and inorganic chemistry, and mechanics, as these were the ones that were most likely to be asked in the exam. However, I made sure to cover all the topics as there was no way of knowing exactly what questions would be asked in the exam.
