The distribution of minerals in India as per the plateau region or regional belts:

  • North-Eastern Plateau region.

North-Eastern Plateau Region

Chhotanagpur in Jharkhand, the plateau regions of Odisha along with West Bengal, including a sliver of Chhattisgarh, make up the northeastern plateau region.
