Preparation Resources
Even if you begin your preparation late, I assure you that you can catch up with the pace if you can choose the right study material. Preparing for the JEE Main exam requires a comprehensive and strategic approach. You don’t need to invest in expensive study materials. All you need is to develop problem-solving skills.
To begin with the preparation, NCERT textbooks for 11th and 12th (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) are a must. You need to read the NCERT books quite several times to be able to remember every data mentioned in them.
The most important resources for a JEE aspirant are previous year papers. Going through at least the papers of the past three years is recommended. Half the preparation is done if you just solve the previous year’s papers because it helps you understand the paper pattern and the types of questions asked in the exam.
Nowadays, there are numerous teachers and sources online that guide you toward clearing the exam. You need to spend some time to find the sources which are right for you. Just focus on the quality of the content you consume and not the quantity of it. Similarly, focus on utilizing your study time to its best rather than spending more time to get over with the same topic. I purchased an online batch that provided modules for improving my problem-solving ability. Honestly, that was all I practised besides previous years’ questions.
