Before heading into any interview, it’s crucial to arm yourself with as much information as possible. Start by delving into the background of the company and the role you’re interviewing for. Understand their mission, values, recent news, and any industry trends. Equally important is gathering intelligence on the interviewer(s). LinkedIn is a valuable tool for this, providing insights into their professional background, interests, and any mutual connections you may have. Additionally, anticipate the questions that might arise during the interview. Look for patterns in the company’s previous interviews, if available, and prepare thoughtful responses. Seek advice from friends, colleagues, or mentors who may have insight into the company or industry. Participating in mock interviews can also be immensely beneficial in refining your responses and boosting your confidence.
Emmanuel School, Tonk Interview Experience As A Student
It was the time when I was in my 12th standard, and it was the time of practical exams when they conducted interviews. As my roll number came late, I felt very hesitant to give the interview. I was in Emmanuel School, Tonk. I asked the students who had already given the interview, and they scared me more. When my turn finally came, they first told me to relax and started with my introduction.
Questions they asked:
- Firstly, they asked me to give an intro.
- Then they asked about my career goals and interests.
- They asked about my file, picking up some questions from it.
- My topic was on biomolecules.
- What is the role of lipids in cellular membranes? Provide examples of different types of lipids and their functions.
- What are the four major classes of biomolecules, and what are their primary functions in living organisms?
- Explain the significance of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins as sources of energy in living organisms. How are these biomolecules broken down during cellular respiration?
- How do changes in pH and temperature affect the structure and function of biomolecules such as proteins and enzymes?
