Round 2: Managerial Round

The second round was an online face-to-face interview with the Engineering Manager of the team that was hiring for the position. After introducing himself and going through my resume the interviewer started asking questions based on the resume.

Some of the questions that were asked were:

  • Details about the projects I was working on, in my current company.
  • Questions on Agile Methodology and Software Engineering.
  • Team structure where I was currently working and my role in the team.
  • Technical questions on Springboot project structure and switching between different profiles in Spring.
  • Tools that were currently being used in my current organization for code deployment, and team collaboration.
  • One major problem that I have encountered and how did I solve it. I explained about a CORS issue that I had faced recently.

I went through the interview for the role of Software Engineer 2 with MIQ Digital. The job was for a candidate with 2 years of experience and with Java-based skillset.
