Smallest District in Rajasthan
Dholpur is the smallest district in Rajasthan by area, covering 3,084 square kilometers. The Chambal River forms the southern border of the district, separating it from Madhya Pradesh. Dudu is another small district in Rajasthan. In August 2023, the state government announced the creation of 17 new districts, including Dudu, as part of a redrawing of the state’s district map.
