Every student begins his/her journey with the zeal to imbibe every bit of knowledge available at institutions. When I entered the first year of college, it was an overwhelming experience that made me challenge myself in every possible way. From trying to explore different clubs to managing every college class, I was amazed by the numerous paths that were available to choose from. I delved into different clubs where I met people with different interests who became my friends with time. When I was stuck during college life, I always had great seniors to look up to. Slowly as time passed by I never realized that I had entered my final year. I had gathered a lifetime of experience and was fully prepared to face what life had to offer me....

People think that IITs are all study and no play which is not at all true since we all have an enriching experience at annual fests which helps us relax and enjoy our tight college schedule. The Placement Saga: Battle of Opportunities

The college offers a placement season before graduating to ensure students can target their dream company and secure great placements. The training and placement cell of our college is responsible for holding the placement season where different top companies visit the campus and offer different roles to students depending on their performances. The intense season is defined by its sleepless nights, mock interviews, TED talks, and hardwork. The whole process is tiresome but you can get through it with endurance and consistency....

The Learnings

When I look at my journey back in college, I realize it was the place that not only enhanced my theoretical knowledge but gave me my personality and some life lessons. Not only did I learn that life is not always fair but I also learned that if you work hard you will eventually get the fruit of your hard work. From fighting with the administration for installing air conditioners in the classroom to praising the management for the efficient conduction of exams, the college became a part of me....

Conclusion: A lifetime experience

By the end of 4th year, college had become my place and it was quite difficult to bid adieu to it. With all the memories I made, all the friends I made and all the learnings I could take, I finished my journey in college and moved out to continue with my job. College has given me learnings that will stay with me throughout my life and will help in every part of my life....
