The Eligibility for CAT Entrance Exams

MBA programmes use CAT, XAT, and MAT aptitude checks in India. MBA admission exams have exceptional requirements for prospective students. Below are the MBA entrance exam requirements:

CAT Eligibility

• Students have to have finished high school and feature an aggregate rating of 50% (40 five% for SC, ST, and PwD) to be eligible to take the CAT.

CMAT

• Graduates from Maharashtra State who fall into the reserved categories or are disabled are eligible for a 5% score reduction.
• Candidates from the ST department are required to submit a “Tribal Validity Certificate” issued by the Scrutiny Committee of the Tribal Department.
• Non-creamy layer certificates are required for all other reserved category students.

TANCET

• The best candidate may have a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field from a permitted organization.
• A candidate’s commencement grade point common (or equivalent) should be at least 50%.
• To be eligible to apply for TANCET, one needs to maintain a bachelor’s degree.

OPENMAT

• A bachelor’s degree from an authorized university in any field is required.
• OPENMAT is also available to cost accounting, enterprise secretaryship, and chartered accounting college students.
• ALL applicants must have a 50% CGPA or higher.
• SC/ST/PwD students can reduce the minimum graduation requirement by 5%.
• Giving an OPENMAT does not impose any age restrictions.
