The Internship Period

During the internship period, you have to contribute articles and/or improvements through the write portal. Refer to “GFG Article Writing Guidelines” if you want more details on that. It is the same as the standard content (article/improvement) contribution process on the site. There is no human communicating directly with you (except different reviewers through the review feedback). There is no-one you have to report to. Work with your own pace and comfort. Follow the writing guidelines, learn and explore the topics you pick or create, write and track the status of your posts on the write portal.

Personally, the experience was somewhat bitter for me due to long review periods, some of which took more than 4 weeks. The probable reason was the pressure on the review system due to large number of articles appearing due to “Geeks Premier League” contest being conducted in parallel at the time. Still, it feels great when you see your posts published.

w3wiki Remote Technical Content Writer Internship Experience

Geeks For Geeks (or GFG) always keeps learners and their requirements in focus. In the same context, the website https://www.w3wiki.org provides “Remote Technical Content Writer Internships” through its article writing portal. I find myself fortunate to discover this opportunity at the mid of year 2023 and then successfully complete a three months internship at the same position by the end of the same year. In this article, I intend to share my experience of the internship so that others can discover about its various aspects.
