The theme for this year’s Stavya was “Retro Times Revisited” which is basically about retro Bollywood or 1990s Bollywood cinema, this theme had a lot of potential and it was completely utilized by the art club of the cultural committee by putting their all in and making some of the best decorations and props I’ve ever seen with the help club and committee members and event volunteers who worked day and night to make it possible. The props for each event and decorations for stage, selfie point, and event area were all prepared very well in a very short amount of time such as a vintage film camera, giant film tape reels, selfie cutouts, etc.
IIIT Vadodara – International Campus Diu Cultural Fest Stavya 2023 Experience
Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara’s satellite campus Diu is well known for its location and the peace and quiet it provides, making the campus environment is suitable for learning and development of not only one’s professional problem solving skills but also their personal hobbies and interests in fine arts such as singing, acting, dancing, etc. This critical need for a platform to display and develop these personal artistic skills is catered by Cultural Fest of IIIT Vadodara – International Campus Diu (ICD) also known as Stavya organized and managed by the brilliant students of the Cultural Committee and its clubs. In this article I would like to share my experiences of the Fest Stavya 2023.
