Validity of No Objection Certificate or NOC
A No Objection Certificate can only be used for a maximum of 6 (six) months. Within six months of receiving the certificate, the vehicle must be reregistered in the new jurisdiction’s RTO. The document will expire if it is not finished within that time range, and a new application will need to be submitted. The same is true for the purchaser, who must obtain a NOC from the RTO in their area and register the vehicle under it before the six-month window closes.
