What is Cumulative Frequency?

Consider the frequency of the first class interval plus the frequency of the second class interval, the sum is then added to the frequency of the third class interval, and so on, to get the cumulative frequency. In most cases, the number of observations in the given data set that fall above or below a specific frequency is determined using the cumulative frequency distribution.
