Metal music lyrics are based on darker themes like death, rage, social and political satire, fantasy, and mythology. It has developed a devoted fan base and a distinct subculture, influencing fashion, and youth culture, and inspiring numerous bands of all genres.
Difference Between Rock and Metal
Metal and rock are two music genres with common roots in rock & roll. Both originated in the 20th century and they involve guitars and drums. But both differ in their sound and style. The rock music genre has a more melodious and diversified sound and also has subgenres such as classic rock. On the other hand, the Metal genre is known for its aggressive and heavy sound and has subgenres such as thrash metal, and death metal.
