What is the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana?
The local distribution network typically provides service to the rural agricultural and non-agricultural users (domestic and non-domestic load) of the nation. The country’s rural parts frequently struggle with an inadequate supply of electricity, which forces the distribution utilities to use load shedding, which affects both agricultural and non-agricultural users’ access to power.
Because of the shifting consumer base and rising living standards, rural areas are experiencing an increase in power demand which necessitates routine infrastructure improvements. The distribution network needs to be upgraded in order to improve supply dependability and quality.
