Mallabhum Institute of Technology Campus Experience
Introduction :
Hello, I am an undergraduate student of B.Tech of my second year. Our college’s name is Mallabhum Institute of Technology which is affiliated with MAKAUT and approved by AICTE it was established in 2002 and now it is 23 years old.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Our college Mallabhum Institute of Technology is a college which is under the curriculum of MAKAUT and AICTE also. So the curriculum of our college follows the MAKAUT curriculum, the whole syllabus or curriculum helps me to do something new for the real world, this curriculum really helps me to be a software engineer, the total course duration is 4 years. In each year there are two semesters in every six months but one problem is sometimes the gap between two semesters decreases in 4 to 5 months otherwise nothing. All is well. The total course fees for 4 years is 240000 rupees and the average class size is 60 and it is varied according to the demand of streams.
Admission Experience:
The whole admission process is very good, it is easy to understand actually to be admitted to B.Tech courses, the candidates must pass their HS exam and also it is important to pass with a good rank in JEE Main for admission to a national institute like IIT or another state level joint entrance examination for admission inside that state. I did not avail any reservation because I am general category but there are reservation systems available for other minority casts like SC, ST, OBC, etc. The online application form is not available, the application form must be collected from the college’s admission cell. There is a minimum seat booking amount required which is 5000 rupees only also direct admission is considered after passing the HS exam.
Campus Life :
Our campus life is very fun. There are many events conducted in every year like fests, annual sports, annual competitions, other national day celebrations, puja festivals, etc. They always try to focus on social aspects, there is a central library and a cafeteria is available for everyone, many of the students spend their free time in that place. In the tiffin time, we all spend our free time in a particular place. Overall our campus life is very enjoyable.
Faculty:
Not only our CSE department faculty, the all faculty members of all departments are very experienced, they all have M.Tech degrees and some of them have PhD degrees also. They are very well mannered and friendly, they have teaching experience of above 1 year. In our department, there are two faculties who are researchers. Overall my experience with faculties is excellent.
Placement opportunity:
I am now in 2nd year so I did not face any placement-related things but I heard from my seniors that our college gives placement every year only for 4th year students after 8th semester. I also heard that an average of 40 to 50 percent students of 4th year of last year got placement not all the students but our college arranged placement drive to give placement opportunities for all the students but one problem is average package is too low that is 4 to 5 LPA. Which is too low according to me. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Rashmi Metalics, etc. hire from our college otherwise many startup companies also hire from our college.
Internship opportunity:
Our college provides internship opportunities in the 4th year only after the 8th sem, many companies like ARDENT, Elenxia ED TECH, etc. collaborated with our college and conducted internship drives in our college, every student’s participation is important, they provide placement assistance also, and gives stipends on a monthly basis which is 5 thousand to 10 thousand only.
Why I choose this college:
I chose this college because of the excellence of education and the faculties are very experienced and the whole campus is lush green, pollution free and ragging free.
