Oracle Interview Experience

Going through the interview experiences helped me greatly during my switch from Service to Product. So, overall there were 6 rounds in total, inclusive of the

Screening Round. So, here’s a Round wise division:

Screening Round (Most Critical): This round began by discussing my past experiences first. And then involved 2 coding questions (1 Easy &1 Medium Level).

There was also an in-depth discussion on Java Theory and code snippets, involving the internal implementation of various classes and data structures.

The interviewer also asked about DevOps topics (Docker & Kubernetes).

Round 1 &2: Tech Rounds (Coding)

These rounds involved medium-level coding questions that emphasized logic-building and finding tricky edge cases.

After I successfully answered technical questions, we discussed my previous projects and technical contributions within them.

Round 3: Tech Round (System Design):

This round focused completely on LLD questions and various HLD problems with discussions on edge cases, efficiency, and best practices.

Round 4 Bartender Round:

This was a complete behavioral round and discussion on my knowledge about the company.

Since Oracle is very particular about its core values and I have been thoroughly accessed.

Round 5 Hiring Manager:

In this round, the interviewer discussed deeply about previous projects, and the role being offered.

Result: After 2 days, I received the great news that I’ve been offered the role of Senior Member of Technical Staff (1C-3) in Oracle (0CI).

What helped me crack the interview process was my consistent self preparation.

Thank you!!
