ProcDNA Interview Experience For Technical Analyst (On-Campus)

Hi Beginner,

To give a basic summary. It was my final year in 2022 and ProcDNA came to our campus (PEC) for 2 roles. One of them was a Technical Analyst and the other one was a data analyst. I applied for technical analyst as it suited my dreams well.

Round – 1 (Resume Shortlisting)

Round -1 was resume shortlisting based on the streams and CGPA. I cleared it.

Round -2 (Pre-placement talk)

Here all the candidates were gathered for an interactive session. Where the recruiter gave information about the company. And was an ice-breaking session for candidates. They told us they are looking for problem solvers and even those who don’t code will be judged on problem-solving skills.
Tips: Ask what you want to ask the recruiter. Don’t hesitate. Answer the recruiter confidently.

Round-3 ( Assessment)

The assessment was of an hour offline mode. which included questions on quantitative analysis, worker problems, blood relationship, and P&C. Then 10 questions on database and 5 questions on testing.
Tips: Skip the question that you think will take time. Be time-efficient. Be calm and keep taking a deep breath.

Round-4 (Interview -1)

I gave my introduction. The recruiter asked me about Excel basics (VlookUp and XlookUp). He asked me about the ER Diagram.
Presented a booklet of tables and asked me what I was going to use as a foreign key and how I would join tables. Asked me for some SQL join queries. I answered as much as I knew as I wasn’t very proficient in SQL at that time.
Then he asked me do you have experience in Python. I said as much as I have in SQL. He asked do I solve DSAlgo.
I said yes! I was brilliant in DSAlgo. He asked me to show a booklet of tables.
Create a function to match the data of table-1 to table-2 and table-3. He told me he was going for a walk and would come in 5 mins. But due to some circumstances, he was back earlier. And I was sitting with questions done. He asked are you making strategy till now. I said I had written a function in C++ and explained to him all my code.
He was impressed and I was lucky to get this round cleared.

Tips: Be honest, Brag about yourself but don’t lie.

Round-5 (Interview -2)

Interview 2 was a day later. They asked me for an introduction, to my hobbies. Gave some case studies of the company like how would you handle the situation when the client is asking for a product change. But the team says it will take some time. Told me more about the company.
