Schneider Electric Interview Experience (On-Campus)

I’m thrilled to share my recent interview experience with you. The process consisted of three rounds, and I’m happy to say that I successfully made it through all of them.

First Round

  • All applicants, including myself, were shortlisted for the first round, which involved technical multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and a gamified round.
  • Out of 2000+ students, only 280 made it to the second round.

Second Round – Technical Interview

  • The interviewer focused on my projects, especially the ones related to web development. I had four projects on my resume.
  • Questions included 4-5 SQL questions related to web development projects.
  • Basic questions on Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Operating Systems (OS) were asked, such as ACID properties, preventing deadlock in real life, segmentation, fragmentation, and normalization in DBMS.
  • The interview lasted for approximately 30 minutes.

Third Round – HR Interview

  • This round was for the 40 students who cleared the technical interview.
  • The HR interviewer inquired about my projects, personal background, family, short-term goals, and long-term goals.
  • The HR interview lasted for about 20 minutes.

All 40 students who reached the HR round were selected, with some offered full-time positions and others offered both internship and full-time opportunities. Fortunately, I was offered an internship along with a full-time position.

Advice

  • If you’re attending the interview as a fresher for this company, focus on understanding your projects thoroughly and brush up on core subjects like DBMS, OS, and DSA.

I hope this summary makes the process clearer. If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. Best of luck with your future interviews and endeavors!
