TS-EAMCET Exam Experience 2023

Hello, everyone. I am Hema Harshini first-year undergraduate of Bachelor’s of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at BVRIT HYDERABAD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING FOR WOMEN.

TS EAMCET Exam Pattern:

Total marks: 160

It is divided into:

  1. MATHEMATICS: 80
  2. PHYSICS: 40
  3. CHEMISTRY: 40

With four options for each question, no negative marking, three(3) an hour time limit.

Studying Strategy:

  1. Try to complete the syllabus soon and revise the concepts regularly.
  2. Give as many mocks as you can. Learn from mistakes.
  3. As there are 160 questions, Time Management is important.
  4. Make short notes and revise the notes on regular basis.
  5. If you are preparing simultaneously for JEE as well, you might find this exam easy to go. Just concentrate on PYQ’S(Previous year questions)
  6. Dedicate last 3 months before exam for giving mocks, revising short notes.

Examination Experience:

Start the paper with CHEMISTRY, this helps you a lot. As per previous year paper analysis the chemistry papers are very easy and , I have followed the same. Then physics, then mathematics at the end because mathematics papers are usually lengthy and tough compared to physics, chemistry.

The exam is for 3 hours, but according to my experience, you must complete the paper accordingly to have time to attempt all the questions.

  • CHEMISTRY : 30 MINS
  • PHYSICS : 30-40 MINS
  • MATHEMATICS : 60-90 MINS

This works really well. I have done the same while attempting mocks and even in the final exam. My TS EAMCET Rank is 7750 in open category and I got enrolled to BVRIT HYDERABAD COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING FOR WOMEN in the very first round of the counselling.

Suggestions :

  1. Don’t get depressed by your low mock scores initially. They are really helpful to make you a better person in the end.
  2. Be disciplined. Revise formulas , read textbooks thoroughly, daily.
  3. Two days before the exam, just revise your short notes and stop giving mock tests.
  4. Be confident in the exam and attempt all the questions( there is no negative marking).
  5. Don’t waste too much time on mathematics in the exam. Prefer chemistry and physics first.

Thanks for your time and patience. Hope the content is useful.

ALL THE BEST for your future endeavors.
