Virtusa Interview Experience

Recently Virtusa visited our college for offering a full-time job for two roles one was and the other was 7lpa during our 6th semester.

Total 3 rounds were conducted:

• 1st round – online test(3 Hrs)
• 2nd round – Technical Interview
• 3rd round – HR Interview

Round 1(Online Test): This was an online assessment round and the time limit was 3 hours. It was a mixture of aptitude, communication and verbal, email writing, technical questions, 4 coding questions(Normal), and extra 3 coding questions(Hard) for the profile of the power coder. In this round, nearly about 800+ students gave the online test conducted by Virtual which was on Virtual mode.

Round 2(Technical Interview): Here around 300 students got selected from the online test and were shortlisted for the next round. I got selected for this and it was in physical mode. My interview lasted for 25-30 minutes whereas for some of my friends it even lasted for 5-10 minutes.

• The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and within that time he was going through my resume. Then he asked about my projects what kind of technologies I have used and some discussions on my projects.
• He then provided me with a paper and asked me to write code and SQL queries. Then asked some questions on JAVA, PYTHON, JAVASCRIPT, HTML, CSS, OS, DBMS, SQL, and not much from Computer Networks.
• The difficulty of questions was easy for me and for some of my friends it was intermediate.

Round 3(HR Interview): After some time the result was declared for those who cleared the Technical interview and I was one of them.&

• I entered the HR room and the interview lasted hardly just for around 10 minutes.&
• Firstly, the interviewer asked me to introduce myself then asked am I ready to relocate and asked me about the bond am I fine with the bond or not lastly asked me Why we should hire you.
• It was just an interaction where the interviewer also told about the Company and even from this some students were also rejected.&
• The main motive of this round is to check the confidence and communication skills of the students.&

FINAL RESULT: SELECTED: The result for this round came after 2-3 days and I was selected for the company. It was an easy experience for me as I belong to a CSE background and if you have some basic knowledge then surely you can also crack this and won’t face many problems. Just be confident and practice daily.
