KCET Fest Experience (WebWar Contest)

This is an experience of a contest held at KCET(Khalsa College Of Engineering And Technology). I just wanted to share my experience there. I was told by my teachers to participate in this contest. I started preparing for it one week ago. Now here every team need a minimum of 2 members to participate. So, my one more friend also started preparing for it with me. We were told by the coordinators of this contest that more than 15 colleges with any stream are participating. More than 100 students participated in this competition. On the day of the competition, I and my friend went to KCET(Khalsa College Of Engineering And Technology) on my friend’s bike. As we reached, We saw a bunch of students there, honestly, we were scared a little bit. Before Webwar, We also participated in another contest. So, Firstly we went to that contest first and after completion of that contest. We reached for a web war competition. After waiting for 15-20 minutes, They finally gave us our task. We were given this picture of a portfolio website below and we have to implement it within 1 and a half hours. With conditions that:

1. The website must be responsive
2. Programmers can use Javascript For Form Submission
3. Programmer Has to write code on Notepad
4. Programmer cannot use a Framework like Bootstrap
5. The user Website must be the same as the picture.

OK, So finally the competition started, my friend was working on a paper to work step by step. After 5 minutes, We started working according to his steps. First, we created a wireframe for the website. Then we took a photo and placed it like the photo of the girl in the above picture. Then we worked on all the buttons, the navigation bar etc. Within 40 minutes we have done almost everything. But the main part is not completed yet. So, I started working to make the website responsive. My website was not ready yet but they came before time and took their judgements. I was thinking that I had done very badly and we could not win. But when the results were announced, We got the second position with a 1500rs cash prize. I was very happy that we got the prize that we deserved.
