John David Washington
John David Washington, Denzel’s eldest son, was born on July 28, 1984. Standing at 5’9″, John David initially pursued a career in professional football. He played college football at Morehouse College, where he set numerous records as a running back. After college, he signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2006 but was released before the season began. He later played for the Rhein Fire in NFL Europe and then for the Sacramento Mountain Lions in the United Football League, where he played as a running back from 2009 until the league’s suspension in 2012.
