How to Enable Monetization on YouTube
After getting enrolled in YouTube’s YPP program, you are eligible for a monetization program for the videos that you create.
Follow these simple steps to enable monetization for your YouTube account:
Step 1- Go to Your Profile Picture
Click on your profile picture located in the top right corner of the YouTube window.
Step 2- Open YouTube Studio
Choose the YouTube Studio option from the menu after clicking your profile picture.
Step 3- Go to the Content
In YouTube Studio, locate and click “Content” in the left navigation bar. It will show you a list of your videos.
Step 4- Choose Your Video
Pick out the video you want to make money from from the list of movies by clicking on it.
Step 5- Open Monetization Options
It’s in the video editor’s left menu. Find “Monetization” and click on it. It will bring up the settings for making money from the chosen movie.
Step 6- Configure Ad Settings
Choose the types of ads you want to display in the video. You might have options like display ads, overlay ads, skippable video ads, etc. Select your preferences.
Step 7- Save Your Settings
After selecting the desired ad types, click “Save” to apply the monetization settings to your video. Your video is now set up for monetization with the chosen ads.
