Installation of QOwnNotes  on Ubuntu

Follow the below steps for successful installation of the QOwnNotes application on the Ubuntu system.

Step 1: Firstly, execute the below command to add the repository.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pbek/qownnotes

 

Step 2: After adding the repository, install the QOwnNotes application using the apt manager.

sudo apt install qownnotes

 

Step 3: Type Y when prompted. Our application is installed on the system.

 

Step 4:  Now to launch the application, Goto to the Activities Panel and search for QownNotes in the Search box.

 

Step 5: After clicking the App icon, the configuration window will appear. Here, we can select the folder address where all the notes will be stored.

 

Step 6: After configuring, click on the Finished button, and the application window will be opened, where the default note is also been shown.

 

Step 7: We have created our custom note which states the below screenshot message.
