Kwame Morris, 35
Kwame Morris, the fifth child of Stevie Wonder, was born on August 6, 1988, in Sydney, Australia. He moved to Los Angeles at age 12. Kwame attended the 24th ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards with his brother Mumtaz in 2011 while studying for a sociology degree at Morehouse College in Atlanta, focusing on media and art. He graduated in 2013.
After college, Kwame worked at the clothing brand L’AGENCE as a production coordinator and later joined Tiffany Casting Company. He also modeled, appearing in Vogue Italia in 2016 and signing with Storm Model Management.
In 2017, he and Stevie Wonder publicly supported Colin Kaepernick’s protest against police brutality by taking a knee at the Global Citizen Festival. In 2020, Kwame launched his eyewear line, Yagan Stone Eyewear. Three years later, he and his partner Akira Egawa welcomed their child, Kenzo.
