Membership in the Green Fins Hub

Green Fins membership provides global access to guidance, tools, and support for marine tourism operators and sustainably-minded tourists. Operators need to improve their environmental impact and complete a self-evaluation to personalize their Green Fins journey and create positive change.

This digital platform provides two types of membership:

1. Digital membership and

2. Green Fin Certified Membership

Digital Membership

The digital membership provides snorkeling and liveaboard operations to operators across the world. The operators will receive environmental scores based on an online self-evaluation throughout their one-year membership. This would enable the operators to evaluate their progress on their action plans.

Green Fin Certified Membership

The Green Fins Certified Membership is evaluated annually and trained in person at their operation. The evaluation is made using a scoring card, in which a low score describes the low impact of a business on coral reefs. A minimum threshold of 200 or below of an environmental impact score is required to become a Green Fins Certified Member.
