Round 3 (HR Interview)

The next day, I prepared myself for the HR interview, knowing that only a select few from my class had made it this far. I was astonished to learn that out of the entire class, only 7-8 boys and 1 girl, including myself, had cleared the previous rounds and were invited for the HR interview.

Realizing that the competition was fierce, with only two spots likely to be filled from our class, I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. It was a stark reminder of the high stakes involved and the significance of performing well in the upcoming interview.

Reflecting on the journey so far, I couldn’t help but acknowledge the rigorous selection process and the perseverance required to reach this stage. As I prepared to face the final hurdle, I remained hopeful and determined to give it my best shot.

As I entered the interview room with my resume in hand, I noticed two members of the interview panel awaiting my arrival. Despite feeling nervous, I greeted them warmly and took my seat.

Some of the questions asked during the interview were:

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  3. Tell me about your project.
  4. Are you ready to sign a bond?
  5. Who is the financial supporter at your home?
  6. What does your father do?
  7. Is he ready to sign a contract?
  8. In case of any requirement by the company, are you ready to do night shifts?
  9. Do you have any plans for higher studies?
  10. Are you comfortable relocating to the company’s location?

The interview went very smoothly, and at the end, they mentioned that they would inform me within the next week.

Softenger India Pvt Ltd Interview Experience For Graduate Engineering Trainee

Now, it’s the middle of my final year in engineering college, and I received a notification from my college’s WhatsApp group that Softenger India Pvt Ltd is coming for campus recruitment. The recruitment drive is scheduled for the next day. As soon as I arrived at college, our faculty began advising us to prepare for the tests and interviews. This recruitment event marks the culmination of our campus placement activities.

From that day onward, we all started searching for interview questions and what to expect in the HR final interview round, among other things.

Now, as for the rounds to be conducted for the recruitment:

  1. Online Aptitude Test
  2. Group Discussion
  3. HR Interview

Campus Recruitment Day:

The day of the campus recruitment finally arrived. However, just before it commenced, a Google Form was circulated across all college groups inviting students from other colleges to participate in the drive. Fortunately, we had already filled out the form with all the necessary details.

The day of the campus recruitment began with the requirement to be present at the college by 9 a.m. I woke up early, quickly brushed up on some basic concepts, and got ready for college. Upon reaching the college at exactly 9 a.m., I noticed many students had already gathered at the destination. I assumed the process had already begun, so I joined the crowd. However, I soon realized that even the college doors were not open yet.

To pass the time, I relaxed with some water. When I asked some of the other students why they were standing there, they informed me that we needed to register ourselves using a Google Form. I mentioned that I thought we had already completed this form, but it turned out there was another form for reporting purposes. I scanned and filled out the reporting form and received a batch number, indicating that we were required to attempt an online test.

At that moment, I hadn’t prepared for the group discussion and didn’t have any topics in mind.
