What are Roman Numbers?
The number used by ancient Romans for counting are called Roman numbers. The numbers which we used today, i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so on are the Hindu-Arabic number, and in Roman Numerals they are represented as I, II, III, IV, V, and so on. The Roman Numerals did not have a concept of zero and so they use various symbols to represent various numbers that are discussed in the table below,
