TCS Digital Campus Hiring**

**Interview Rounds:**

**Round 1: Online Test**

The first round was an online test conducted on-campus. It comprised multiple-choice questions covering various topics such as quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and programming concepts. Additionally, there were coding questions that tested problem-solving skills and coding proficiency. The test aimed to assess candidates’ technical aptitude and logical reasoning abilities.

**Round 2: Technical Interview**

Candidates who cleared the online test proceeded to the technical interview round. In this round, I was interviewed by a panel of TCS engineers. The interview primarily focused on technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of fundamental concepts related to computer science and programming. Some of the questions asked during the technical interview included:

1. Explain object-oriented programming concepts with examples.

2. Discuss your experience with data structures and algorithms.

3. Solve a coding problem related to arrays or linked lists.

4. Explain the working of the TCP/IP protocol stack.

5. Describe a recent project you worked on and the technologies you used.

6. How do you handle runtime errors in your code?

The interviewers also assessed my ability to communicate effectively and articulate my thoughts clearly.

**Round 3: Managerial Interview**

Candidates who successfully cleared the technical interview progressed to the managerial interview round. This round focused on assessing candidates’ leadership potential, problem-solving skills, and alignment with TCS’s organizational culture. The interviewers asked behavioral questions to understand how candidates handle challenges, work in teams, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Some common questions in this round included:

1. Tell us about a time when you had to resolve a conflict within a team.

2. How do you prioritize tasks when working on multiple projects simultaneously?

3. Describe a challenging situation you encountered during a project and how you overcame it.

4. What are your long-term career goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?

Candidates were expected to provide examples from their past experiences to support their responses and demonstrate their suitability for the role.

**Round 4: HR Interview**

The final round of the interview process was the HR interview. This round focused on evaluating candidates’ personality, communication skills, and cultural fit with TCS. The HR interviewer asked questions related to candidates’ career aspirations, willingness to relocate, and reasons for choosing TCS. Additionally, they discussed compensation expectations and provided information about the company’s policies, work culture, and career growth opportunities.
