TCS NQT Exam Experience 2024

About the TCS National Qualifier Test:

-NQT (Cognitive Skills) is a essential for all the tests.

-The validity of the NQT score is of two years.

-Candidates are eligible to apply on the TCS iON Job Listing Portal with an NQT score.

-NQT exams are conducted at the TCS iON centers.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must meet the below eligibility criteria to apply for TCS NQT:

-Students with UG, PG, and Diploma are currently in their pre-final, final year, or have passed out.

-Percentage Criteria for freshers; 60% minimum throughout 10+2/Diploma/UG/PG.

-Students with any degree of specialization are eligible to sit for TCS NQT.

-Freshers having less than 2 years of experience are eligible.

Format of the exam:

Round 1:

There is first online test in which test contains Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability Quantitative Ability.

In the same test there is Advance section in which Advanced Quantitative Ability, Advanced Reasoning Ability, Coding Section.

Preparation strategies:

For clear the exam you have to clear the the test of Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Reasoning Ability Quantitative Ability, then you are eligible for Ninja Position. It is good for those students who are not prepared for the coding and have a good skills about the aptitude, reasoning etc.

The second one is that if someone done 1 easy coding question then the student eligible for Digital Position and have a good package after the advanced round conducted.

The third one is that if someone done both 2 coding questions then the student eligible for Prime Position and have a good package after the advanced round conducted.

Round 2:

-If you have cleared the Online test then TCS will contact you for further rounds that will include

-Technical Round: In this round, basic coding questions are asked. Some questions on computer science subjects such as DBMS, OS, CN and OOPS can also be asked. Also, you can prepare for language-specific questions that you have mentioned in the resume.

-Managerial Round: This round can have both technical or HR-based questions regarding past internship experience, resume projects, teamwork, etc.

-HR Round: This is an average HR round and contains behavioral questions and they discuss with you the compensation.

Ninja Aspirants:

Job Roles: Software Tester/ Java/Python Developer/Web Developer

Degree & Salary: UG: INR 3.3 lakh , PG: INR 3.6 lakh

Digital Aspirants:

Job Roles: Full Stack Developer/Web Developer/Backend Developer/Salesforce/SAP

Degree & Salary: UG: INR 7.0 lakh, PG: INR 7.3 lakh

Prime Aspirants:

Job Roles: ML Engineer/Gen AI Engineer/Cyber Security/Business Intelligence/Data Scientist

Degree & Salary: UG: INR 9.0 lakh, PG: INR 11.5 lakh

The examination comprised of two rounds, and these will be conducted on the TCS iON centers.
