Truminds Interview Experience for SDE (On-Campus)
Round 1: It was an online test of two hours duration on HackerEarth platform.
- Consisted of 18 MCQs from CS subjects – Operating Systems, DSA, Aptitude, DBMS. The questions were of easy level.
- 1 coding question was asked which was of medium level. A variation to this question: https://www.w3wiki.net/number-subsequences-string-divisible-n/
Round 2: It was a technical interview of about 45 minutes. Questions were from Operating Systems, Data Structures and Algorithms, DBMS, Web Development, Object Oriented Programming, C++, Python, and coding.

- Easy to medium-level questions were asked like – Inheritance concepts ( I was asked to code Base class and Derived class program by sharing my screen),
- Paging in OS, Serializability in DBMS, Real-time operating system, and some other questions
- Swap two numbers without using a third variable, write syntax of data structure which can store an integer and a character data types,
- About virtual functions, basic SQL queries
- What are React.js and Angular.js
- Do you have any questions for me?
Round 3: Leadership Discussion – It was also a technical cum personality round where basic CS questions were asked and presentation skills were tested. The duration was around 20 minutes.

Overall it was a good experience with healthy discussion on core subjects, programming and new technologies.
FINAL VERDICT – SELECTED AND ACCEPTED THE OFFER
Around 20 students from our campus applied for Truminds, from which around 12 were selected for Round 2. After Round 2, 6 students made it to Round 3. Finally, 5 students got the offer.
