Diabetes Mellitus

Diabetes Mellitus is one of the most common forms of diabetes. Most people do suffer from this type of diabetes. In diabetes mellitus the blood glucose level increases. This rise in sugar level occurs when the body is not able to process the glucose properly. In such conditions, the pancreas is not able to produce enough amount of insulin that is required for controlling the sugar level.

Types of Diabetes Mellitus

1. Type 1 Diabetes: Type 1 Diabetes is a type of mellitus diabetes where the pancreas does not produce enough level of insulin which in turn leads to high glucose levels.
2. Type 2 Diabetes: Type 2 Diabetes is a type of mellitus diabetes where cells are not able to use the produced insulin as the body becomes resistant to the insulin.

Difference Between Diabetes Mellitus And Diabetes Insipidus: Diabetes Mellitus and Diabetes Insipidus are two different types of diabetes. Diabetics Mellitus is the most commonly found diabetes in today’s population. These two types of diabetes are further divided into various types. The two diabetes patients suffer from different symptoms and have different levels of concentration in blood and urine. They differ from each other with respect to various parameters such as hunger, excretion of blood, causes, and the presence of sugar levels.
