High Potential Test
The High Potential Test, also called Hi-Pot Test or Dielectric Withstand Test, is a test performed under high voltage testing to assure the safety and quality of the electrical materials used in the equipment.
The main purpose of the high potential test is to evaluate the quality of material used in insulation and components so that equipment can withstand the adequate high voltage without posing any failure.
