Nanjing University (NJU) is a big public university in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China. Itβs run by the Ministry of Education and is involved in big education projects like Project 211, Project 985, and the Double First-Class Construction. It began in 1902 as Sanjiang Normal School and went through several name changes until it became Nanjing University in 1950. It later merged with the University of Nanking in 1952. The university has two main campuses: Xianlin campus in the northeast and Gulou campus in the city center of Nanjing. Nanjing University is also part of the C9 League.
