VITEEE 2022 Exam Tips and Experience

Preparation

In the whirlwind of preparing for the daunting JEE exam, my sights were set on one goal: cracking it with flying colours. Days turned into nights as I buried myself in textbooks and practice tests, determined to secure a spot in a top-tier engineering institute. But just when I thought I had everything mapped out, life threw me a curveball – the VITEEE exam.

It was like a sudden plot twist in my carefully scripted journey. I hadn’t even considered the VITEEE exam until it popped up as a backup option. With only 20 days left until the exam date, panic threatened to set in. How could I possibly switch gears and prepare for another test on such short notice? But I refused to be deterred. Drawing on the knowledge and skills I had amassed during my JEE preparations, I dove headfirst into the world of VITEEE. While the questions weren’t as grueling as those of the JEE, there were still unfamiliar territories to conquer.

I started by revisiting familiar concepts, using them as stepping stones to navigate the new terrain of the VITEEE syllabus. Armed with determination and an arsenal of YouTube tutorials, I tackled each topic with fervour, determined to leave no stone unturned. But preparation wasn’t just about theory – it was about practice. I scoured the depths of the internet for previous years’ question papers, devouring them with the hunger of someone chasing a dream. And when doubts crept in, threatening to derail my confidence, I turned to a trusty mobile app designed specifically for VITEEE preparation.

Exam experience

My VITEEE exam experience was quite the rollercoaster ride. I kicked things off with the physics section, my favorite subject. The first chunk of questions was a breeze; I knocked out around 10 without breaking a sweat. They were so straightforward that I didn’t even need to consult my formula sheet. The next 5 were formula-based, which I handled with ease. However, the remaining questions really put my skills to the test. They were challenging, but I dug deep and managed to tackle them all.

Then came the chemistry section, which I knew was my weakest link. I started off strong, answering the questions I knew for sure. But as I progressed, I found myself relying more on intuition and educated guesses. It was tough, but I powered through.

Next up was the math section, where I found myself in familiar territory with questions heavily focused on coordinate geometry and vectors. I was able to solve about 80% of them using my knowledge, but for the rest, I had to trust my instincts once again.

Finally, the aptitude and miscellaneous section proved to be a breeze. Thanks to my preparation and practice with past year questions, I breezed through most of them confidently.

Result

Finally the moment of truth the result day I got around 18k rank over all and got selected for Computer science and Engineering Core branch in category 1.

Tips to Prepare for the Exam

Understand the Exam Pattern: Familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, including the number of sections, types of questions, and marking scheme. Understanding the structure of the exam will help you allocate your time and resources efficiently during your preparation.

Create a Study Schedule: Develop a study schedule that covers all the subjects and topics included in the VITEEE syllabus. Break down your study sessions into manageable chunks, and allocate more time to topics you find challenging. Consistency is key, so stick to your schedule and make adjustments as needed.

Practice Regularly: Practice solving sample papers, previous year question papers, and mock tests regularly. This will help you gauge your progress, identify weak areas, and improve your time management skills. Additionally, practicing under exam-like conditions will boost your confidence and reduce anxiety on the exam day.

Focus on Concepts: Instead of rote memorization, focus on understanding the underlying concepts and principles of each subject. Once you grasp the fundamentals, solving problems becomes easier, and you’ll be better equipped to tackle questions that require critical thinking and application of concepts.

If you are preparing for other competitive exams as JEE Mains or BITS simply do not prepare specially for VITEEE just go through the past year paper 1 week before the exam and practice you are all set to rock!!
