He was born as a poor orphan in the British West Indies who later immigrated to New York. He played an important role in the Constitutional Convention in 1787. The founding father who shaped the economy of the United States was Alexander Hamilton. He authored â The Federalist Papers Constitution a series of essays that argued for the ratification of the constitution. He was also the first secretary of the Treasury. He also worked towards the establishment of a National bank. He died in a tragic event where he was killed in a duel with his rival in 1804.
