West Bengal is situated in the Eastern region of India which shares international borders with Bangladesh to the east and Nepal to the west. In Indian States, Bihar to the west, Jharkhand to the west, Odisha to the southwest, Sikkim to the northwest, and Assam to the northeast. The state has a coastal area along the Bay of Bengal to the south. Its geographical location is in between approximately 22.9868° North latitude and 87.8550° East longitude. Some parts are come under Ganges Delta, which provides fertile land in the majorly area of the Delta region. In North, The Himalayan foothills contributing a diverse landscapes. It is a home of the Darjeeling Himalayan region which is marked for its beautiful scenes and tea plantations. In North, It also shares a border with Bhutan.
